I have received another electronic rejection letter. Slightly surprised but never mind. I’ve reproduced here with one minor literary adjustment.
“We have received your application for the position of Senior Internal Auditor. After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected for this position. We will retain your candidate file in our database and may inform you of job openings that match your profile if you selected this option. We also invite you to visit the Career Section on our Web site regularly.
We thank you for your interest in Acme and wish you all the best in your career. Please don’t trouble us again.
Best regards,
Acme Recruitment Team”
AM,
I do not believe it ended with “Please don’t trouble us again.”
But that’s the point, though, isn’t it?
The only nice thing about an electronic rejection is that it’s much easier to copy into a blog post. 🙂
