Finally, the heatwave in the UK is over. It’s lasted about three weeks? Actually I think it was warmer in 2006 as we had decent weather from May until early October but I won’t let that get in the way of a decent tabloid headline. As for the other matter, the birth of the third in line to the throne, the wait is also over. To be honest, another day of Kay Burley on Sky News from eight til late would have sent me over the edge. Nevertheless, congratulations to the Royal couple.

Royal Baby Watch July 18, 2013

I don’t know about you but I’m sitting here on tenterhooks (well, not quite) awaiting the birth of the future King or Queen of England.  One thing strikes me.  If Princess Kate is residing at her parent’s home in sunny Berkshire, and starts getting labour pains, isn’t rather unlikely that she will be attending St.Marys Hospital in London?  Isn’t the Royal Berkshire Hospital a better bet?  I could be wrong but it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
